Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how my9albums (“we”, “us”, or “the service”) handles information when you visit my9albums.org, choose albums, create a poster, or open a shared poster link.

Information we handle

We try to keep the product account-free and collect only what is needed to operate and improve it.

How we use information

Third-party services

The service uses Cloudflare for hosting, Worker execution, caching, and D1 storage; Google Analytics for product analytics; Microsoft Clarity for experience diagnostics; and music and cover-art providers for album search and artwork. Those providers process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Cookies and local storage

my9albums uses browser local storage for your board. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies. You can clear local storage and manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics technologies may not prevent you from using the poster editor.

Public sharing

Share links are designed to be viewable by anyone who has the URL. Do not include information in the name, handle, quote, or other poster fields that you do not want to make public. The current MVP does not provide account-based access controls.

Retention and deletion

Board data saved only in your browser remains until you clear it or the browser removes it. Shared poster records may remain in our database for as long as they are needed to operate the sharing and statistics features. To request deletion of a shared poster or ask a privacy question, email privacy@my9albums.org and include the share URL.

Your choices

You may stop using the service, clear local storage, block analytics in your browser, or avoid creating public share links. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. We will handle valid requests according to applicable law.

Children

The service is not intentionally directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information through a share link or another feature, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service, analytics tools, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
