Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of my9albums.org. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

my9albums is a browser-based tool that lets you search for albums, choose and order nine albums, generate poster images, and optionally create a share link. The service is provided without an account in the current MVP and may change over time.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless we give you permission for another use. You must not:

• attack, overload, scrape, probe, or disrupt the service or its third-party providers;
• use automated requests to create excessive searches or share links;
• upload or submit content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or harmful; or
• use a share link to expose personal information without the person’s permission.

Your poster and share links

You are responsible for the name, handle, quote, and other information you include in a poster. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and deliver that information as part of the poster and any share link you request. Share links are public to anyone who receives the URL; do not use them for confidential material.

Album data and artwork

Album names, artist names, release information, and cover artwork come from third-party catalogs and providers. We do not guarantee that every album is available, correctly identified, or continuously available. Your use of third-party content may also be subject to the provider’s terms.

Downloads and user responsibility

You may download posters generated by the service for your own use. You are responsible for checking that your use of album metadata, cover artwork, names, handles, and quotes complies with applicable law and any rights held by others.

Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available for every album, browser, device, or region. Keep your own copy of any poster you want to preserve.

Suspension and changes

We may limit, suspend, or remove access to the service or a share link when needed for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, or legal reasons. We may also update these terms and will publish the new effective date on this page.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, my9albums and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Governing law and contact

The operator’s legal entity, governing law, and dispute venue must be completed for the jurisdiction in which the service is operated. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@my9albums.org.
